I've decided to sell most of my lifetime collection of model
trains. Most of these were brought over from the UK when I emigrated here to Australia many years ago. Although introduced to this wonderful hobby in my early childhood with O gauge I quickly downsized to half that. You'll therefore rarely find anything other than OO/HO gauge here I'm sorry! (Check under 'Everything Else' just above!)
Once I outgrew my pocket money I bought from swapmeets, auction sites and so on, keeping what enhanced my collection and rarely parted with anything! Some of the stuff has not seen the light of day for many years so could therefore be quite rare! The collection mostly centres around Hornby which includes of course earlier Tri-ang/Rovex products but also Hornby Dublo (Meccano), Airfix (GMR), Lima and various other manufacturers that have been taken over by them. A quick note about item descriptions: Assume everything is 'Excellent used condition' unless stated otherwise! Same with locos or motors - assume all tested and working. I will not be offering ebay-style auction facilities any time soon. The nearest I can come up with is to put selected listings as 'Open for Tender'. Please check here for more on this. |
